Premier League clubs are back in pre-season and the transfer rumours are already hotting up.
SunSport recently put together the 10 biggest transfer stories that are doing the rounds this summer, from Robin van Persie’s expected Arsenal exit to Manchester United’s pursuit of the latest bright young thing out of Brazil.
Robin van Persie to Manchester City
The Dutchman is refusing to sign a new deal at Arsenal as he has grown tired with their lack of progress. Manchester City are the most likely destination, but rivals Manchester United are in the hunt too.

Andy Carroll to AC Milan
New Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers does not seem convinced with the Geordie hitman, even though AC Milan’s transfer guru is. A loan move to West Ham has also been mooted.

Luka Modric to Real Madrid
It seems the diminutive Croat has had enough of White Hart Lane and Jose Mourinho is ready to offer him an exit route to the Bernabeu. Chelsea, who had a £40million bid rejected last summer, are also keen.

Lucas Moura to Manchester United
The Brazilian whizkid has been tipped as one of the hottest young talents in South America. The attacking midfielder has opened the door to a move in recent days after “things changed” at club Sao Paulo.

Demba Ba to Galatasaray
BA has a £7million release clause in his contract which has a host of clubs scrambling for his services, particularly after he smashed in 16 league goals last season. Toon team-mate Yohan Cabaye, who emerged as a shock target for Barcelona today, is adamant his club must retain the Senegalese striker.

Joao Moutinho to Tottenham Hotspurs
Andre Villas-Boas is looking to add the Portuguese maestro to his Tottenham ranks as he plans for the expected departure of Luka Modric. Moutinho, who played under AVB at Porto, is also wanted by Manchester United.

Fabio Borini to Liverpool
BRENDAN RODGERS seems intent on signing the Italian striker from Roma to bolster his strikeforce. Roma striker Borini played under Rodgers in the Chelsea reserves and on loan at Swansea.

Oscar to Tottenham
The creative Brazilian is another potential Luka Modric replacement that AVB is considering. Internacional are demanding a £20m fee for Oscar’s services – Spurs are looking to pay less. Chelsea has also been linked.

Theo Walcott to Chelsea
Walcott is devastated by Robin van Persie’s decision not to renew his contract at Arsenal and is ready to follow the Dutchman out the exit door. The England winger has one year left on his current contract and Chelsea are monitoring the situation.

Hugo Lloris to Tottenham
France No1 Lloris has been told he can leave Lyon and Spurs have bid £13m. The French giants are holding out for a fee of £16m.
