Tito Jackson claims Michael Jackson‘s ‘spirit’ visits him on stage.
61-year-old star, Tito Jackson, elder brother to the late music icon, Michael Jackson has revealed he can still feel his late brother’s presence when performing on stage, despite the fact that he died of a cardiac arrest at his home in Los Angeles in 2009.
He confessed: ‘All the time I feel his spirit, especially when I’m performing with the brothers on stage at a live performance.’
The Jacksons musician, who continues to make live appearances with his brothers, Jackie, Jermaine and Marlon to perform as a band, explained it makes him feel ‘happy’ when he feels like the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker is nearby because his ‘warm’ personality is ‘comforting’ for him.
He continued: ‘You can feel the spirit all the time, absolutely. It’s a happy feeling because Michael was a warm, happy, loving person. It’s a comforting feeling.’
Tito, who will launch his solo career later this year with his debut album, added he still talks to his late sibling on a regular basis, to ask for his advice on important life decisions.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ‘I have had times when I silently talk to him. I’ll ask him a question. ‘What should I do?’
