In a quick poll done recently to find out who movie fans are looking forward to watching the most in soon-to-be-released Nollywood movie, The Wedding Party, veteran actress Sola Sobowale emerged top.
Sobowale gained popularity after playing the character of Toyin Tomato in Superstory, but has been off the screens lately.
That absence has been felt as many Nigerians now cannot wait to watch her strut her stuff in a role seemingly made for her.
As a result, 30% of those who took the poll went for Sola Sobowale, while Frank Donga and everyone’s favourite ‘sugar daddy’ Richard Mofe-Damijo came in joint second with 20% of the votes.
The Wedding Party, which is directed by Kemi Adetiba, is set to premiere this December.
