Belgium and Chelsea goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois has been named the Belgian Sportsman of the Year.
Thibaut who guided Atletico Madrid during his loan spell to win the La Liga title and reach the final of the Champions League, became the first Belgian footballer to win the award on Sunday, December 16, 2014 at the Gala awards night held at De Panne.
The former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper who was among three footballers on the list, beat his fellow Chelsea team mate, Eden Hazard and Kevin de Bruyne to the prize from a long list of Belgian Sportsman nominees.
