It appears keen observers of the alleged Beyonce and Jay-Z marital friction have turned their attentions elsewhere, away from fashion designer, Rachel Roy, earlier believed to be the alleged mistress of the rapper, to singer Rita Ora.
Some of the lyrics on the recently released LEMONADE album by Beyonce have seemingly indicated a crack in the marriage of the power couple, with the lines ‘He only want me when I’m not there/ Better call Becky with the good hair’ from the song, Sorry, being one of the most poignant.
Beyhives – as Beyonce’s passionate, almost to the point of oppressive, fan community are called – turned the heat on Rachel Roy, forcing her to make her social media account private after her Instagram post about having ‘good hair’ was interpreted to mean she admits being Jay Z’s mistress.

There is a new twist however, as the ‘bees’ have now swarmed Rita Ora, believing she is the ‘Becky’ of Beyonce’s lyrics.
The former Roc Nation signee had posted a picture of herself wearing a bra with two lemons on it and also what appeared to be a letter ‘J’ necklace on Snapchat, prompting the ‘bees’ to believe she is the alleged mistress.
Since she added the photo to her Snap story, Ora’s Instagram page has been flooded with hurtful insults, along with bee and lemon emojis, Beyoncé fans’ favoured form of attack.
Rita Ora has however left Roc Nation and is also currently in a lawsuit battle with the label for failing to produce a second album.
Now the big question is, will this quest by the Beyhive to decode who ‘Becky’ is ever end?
