They locked down the expensive Expo Centre of Eko Hotels for days, crossing t’s and dotting i’s. The Okoye brothers worked with promoter Cecil Hammond, show producer Olatunde Michaels, as well as several choreographers, dancers, musicians and instructors, to deliver their first-ever big-budget solo concert performance.
With home-made and imported costumes (their neon apparel used to execute by far the highest point of their gig, was brought in from the US, according to sources who worked on the project), and equipment sourced from some of the best gear houses, the pop stars went all the way, determined to deliver to Lagosians, an experience of a lifetime.
Whether they completely succeeded or not, is story for another day. For now, enjoy some images, captured by award-winning photographer Shola Animashaun…
