THE FUTURE IS HERE!!!
Actress-producer Stephanie Okereke is up for ‘young person of the year’
The count down to The Future Awards, one of the biggest youth Awards in Nigeria has been on for a while, and at a time when all sectors in Nigeria are getting set to round up a rather uncertain year, the TFA team have given us something to talk about.
Their nominees list!!!
To be held in Lagos, Nigeria on February 7, 2010, the list of contenders in a total of twenty categories was made available to NET a few hours ago.
The nominees are made up of young, and extra-ordinarily driven Nigerian citizens between the ages of 18 and 31.
“It’s the definitive list of the brightest and best young Nigerians in the past year” Chude Jideonwo head honcho of the Future award tells NET.
And one is made to believe this is right as the list details all the endeavours thriving youths find themselves everyday. From Acting to Advocacy to Style to technology; Journalism all the way to business.
He continues “We gathered the best young Nigerians, and we spent two months doing so, it is not about how popular or whether you live in the country or not”
Maybe if you go through the nominees list, then you’d agree or disagree with him….

Congratulations to all nominees.. Good job, i think just u guys av the nominees list
thank God that The unrulies didn't make the list this year.
Comprehensive list but i have issues with the musician of the year list. Banky W and rooftop Mcs. what did they do this year? They just released singles compared with Kel, MI and Dare Art Alade. Omawumi is understandable
you featured Bella Naija on your website? interesting
Happy for Darey and kel and #lightupnigeria. this is just the beginning
I want to vote! I want to vote!I want to vote
yipeee for Darey
congrats to all nominated! My friends and Icons – Darey, Stephanie, Cobhams, Spaceman, Onyeka…
Dayo, i must say you are stupid for saying Banky W is not busy this year. what about Strong tin and Lagos Party… please get your facts right before typing rubbish here.
i think the musician of the year category is between Dare Art Alade and Wande Coal. No show for Kel and Omawumi
who be Chude? is it the same dude from Next? he is an idiot
And wetin concern Chude for this mnatter now Lade? I am sure you are one of those idiots who were defending ID cabassa's crap album
teni do u av to take dis dt personal, cmon wat sort of publicist are u! dammit!
Seun, i just think you don't have work. Chude is an idiot and it remains like that or are you Chude claiming Seun? cos i dont understand your plight
i am not Banky W's publicist. i was just correcting someone that decided to go wrong
Hehehehehe. Lade is an idiot and he remains like that! Fool. Any arse with one ball can come here and say any shit under anonymous.
Olanike Fagbule don cause wahala for here o. See people as people don dey fight for here
Chude, you are a big fool changing your name in here and exchanging words with me. Please go and face your awards. Have you written your pages this week?
LOL!!!!! Lade you are MISERABLE. U actualy tink chude is the one exchanging words with you? You wish! The ID cabassa review is gone and past. Grow up! And letrs move on to this list of achievers here!
This Lade fellow must be a child
talking abput her outfits, i think mercy johnson should have mercy on us and try leave som'n 2 d imagination. her talent should speak 4 itself without help from d rest of her features which r constantly on display. i just don't get d point!
Ali nuhu is the best.
I think is high time we give honour to whom it,s due, under the style entrepreneur of the year I must thank you guys for fishing out the right norminees, you guys must have done a whole lot of under ground research to have come up with these wonderful people, but if am allowed to pick just one person in this category I think Ugonna Omeruo should have the Crown honestly I mean House of Nwaocha is beyond the Best just keep the fire burning…. Thanks.
My vote for young person of the year goes to qudus onikeku(dance professional)
