Actually, it’s not funny at all. Nigeria has been boiling for days now, following viral protests across the country, over the removal of oil subsidy and deregulation of the downstream oil sector. Online and offline, ‘Occupy Nigeria‘ protests have taken over the entire system, with millions demanding the Goodluck Jonathan-led government reverse what many perceive an anti-people or ill-timed policy.
But Nigerians, being who they are, are still plotting humour in the midst of incredible agony. As the pump price of PMS sits on N141,with its resultant effect on every aspect of the economy, this is how the very imaginative ones are capturing the situation…
