
After surviving his 2013 kidney surgery, late music producer OJB Jezreel in an exclusive interview with Thenetng in early 2014 revealed he had plans to write and publish a book that’ll capture his adult life experience.
In his words back then, OJB said, ‘I’m working on a book which I have titled The Celebrated Beggar’. It will capture my experience as a producer and musician up to the travails of my kidney ailment. I want to talk about how one can go off the spotlight in just a single moment and a whole lot of things’.

Sadly, the Delta State born legend died on June 14, 2016 a few days to his 50th birthday and the book, The Celebrated Beggar never got published.
