Big Brother loves to keep both the fans and the housemates on their toes by throwing unexpected twists into the game.
At the beginning of evictions this season, Biggie created a new style for nominations. All housemates were put up for eviction every Monday after the Head of House games. Only the HOH and the Deputy HOH were safe from evictions. Every Sunday, during the eviction show, housemates had to pick two out of the other four housemates with the least votes for immediate eviction.
During the eviction show on Sunday, August 30, the rules for the game changed and three of the housemates with the least votes were sent home.
This officially re-introduced the old nomination and eviction process that fans knew from previous seasons. After the Head of House games that saw Erica (Head of House) and Prince (Deputy HOH) secure immunity from nominations tonight, each of the housemates got to put up two housemates each for eviction.
At the end of the nomination process, Lucy, Laycon, TrikyTee, Kiddwaya, Nengi and Vee had the highest nominations and were immediately put up for possible eviction.

The voting lines will open today at 10 pm and close on Thursday at 10 pm and fans can vote to save their favourite housemates who are up for eviction on the website and mobile site – africamagic.tv/bigbrother.
Also, via SMS by texting VOTE and the NAME of the HOUSEMATE to 32052. (SMS costs N30 for Nigeria only and available on the participating networks – Airtel, MTN and 9Mobile).
This season, the tiered voting system will give DStv and GOtv viewers more votes via the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps to keep their favourite BBNaija housemates in the house. DStv Premium customers will get 2,500 votes; Compact Plus will have 1,500 votes; Compact customers will get 750 votes while Confam and Yanga customers will get 500 and 200 votes respectively.
For GOtv customers on Max, they get 350 votes and GOtv Jolli customers get 200 votes. Voting on the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps are open only to subscribers in Nigeria with eligible packages and an active subscription.
