Terry Tha Rapman is arguably one of the most underrated rappers Nigeria has ever seen. He’s been in the industry for more than a decade but has just started to gain the recognition that he has long deserved.
The Jos-born rapper is back with two projects off his sleeves; his sophomore album titled ‘B.A.N.S – Boys Are Not Smiling’ and a clothing line also with the slogan ‘B.A.N.S – Boys Are Not Smiling’.
The rapper’s reinvention with a clothing line toes the path of foreign rappers such as ‘Diddy’, ‘Jay-z’ and fellow Nigerian acts Dbanj, 9ice and others whose entrepreneurial skills are remarkable.
‘It’s doing well so far. It was so bad that it’s demand was really crazy; we even had to get some extra investors and the materials had to be imported from China, that’s why it took a little while to make it in bulk’, Terry tells NET.
The new album seems to be a very personal testament for the Rapper as he tackles the criticism he’s gotten over the years and believes that all the stuff that were done back in those days which people were not really feeling will now be greatly felt and accepted.
