NET Extra: Sierra Leone observes sombre Christmas over Ebola
Small groups of Christians in formal attires were only permitted to attend church services on Thursday, December 25, 2014 but the family gatherings, beach parties, concerts and dancing that usually accompanies the holiday were banned to help in preventing the transmission of the deadly Ebola virus in Sierra Leone.
