Terra Academy for the Arts (TAFTA) presents a new edition of its quarterly theatre showcase, TALP X, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The showcase, which features emerging talent training at TAFTA, will run from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
This edition features two original plays: Kingmaker and Bookcover. Kingmaker tells the story of an enslaved girl who defies the odds in a male-dominated society to become a kingmaker, while Bookcover blends heart and humour to explore how an elite family is forced to confront its own prejudices.
TALP X represents the final stage of TAFTA’s intensive training program, which guides students through months of mentorship in scriptwriting, lighting, sound design, animation, and art entrepreneurship, culminating in the creation of original stage productions.
