According to Deadline, Sylvester Stallone has revealed that he is currently working on the script of Creed 2.
However, it is still unknown if Ryan Coogler, who directed Creed, will also direct this sequel since he’s been tied up with Black Panther.
A release date for the sequel has also not been revealed.
Stallone has, however, hinted that the plot might pit Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis character against the son of Drago, the Russian heavyweight (played by Dolph Lundgren) who killed Apollo (Carl Weathers) in the ring during 1985’s Rocky IV.
Creed is a 2015 American sports drama film directed by Ryan Coogler and written by Coogler and Aaron Covington.
It is a spin-off and sequel to the Rocky film.
