The tension keeps mounting as the days go by at the Project Fame Academy. But it was all smiles for the finalists as US old-time R&B groups SWV (Sisters with Voices) and Midnight Star paid the Project Fame Academy a surprise courtesy visit last week.
The trio of SWV (Cheryl Gamble, Tamara Johnson and Leanne Lyons) along with the R&B band Midnight Star met up with contestants and also watched them rehearse. Music director Ben Ogbuewi also joined in the fun as he took to the stage and performed Midnight Star’s old school number ‘Midas touch’ among other African songs to the trill the guests.
SWV and Midnight Star then took time out to advice the finalists, encouraging them to put in their best when performing and also in their music careers in the nearest future.
