Apparently the first surprise of the night, Baseline Music act Aramide has won the award for Best Female Vocal performance at the on-going The Headies 2015.
She defeated Asa, Yemi Alade, Simi and Waje to walk away with the award.
Going against proven acts considered to be heavyweights, many did not consider Aramide as a strong contender for the award, but like the tagline of this year’s award show says, the script got flipped.
The award was presented by Lilian Esoro and OC Ukeje.
