Footballer Kalu Uche recently lost his father while he was representing the country in a friendly match against Niger Republic.
The 29-year-old striker has since been granted permission by Head Coach, Stephen Keshi to travel down to his Igbere Aba home town in Abia state to perform his duties and make preparations for his burial.
Uche who currently plays for Kasimpasa, a Turkey club, started his career in 1998 with the Enyimba football club, Aba, Abia State.
