Reggae/dancehall act, Stonebwoy has described the planned protest by actress, Yvonne Nelson and hip hop act, Sarkodie against persistent power outage in Ghana, #DumsorMustStop as mere ‘noise’.
Speaking recently with Kasapa FM, the ‘Ghetto Love’ singer said that power outage has been a normal issue in the country since 2000 and as such it will be better if the energy is channeled towards solving the issue, rather than making noise about it.
‘I think this Dumsor has been on since 2000 even as I can remember. From Acapulco Bay when my auntie would leave Ashaiman to go watch somewhere … so I think that it’s been loud this time, we are trying.
‘For me I am not used to complaining. I just feel instead of complaining, we can put the energy into solving it than making noise about it, he said.
Stonebwoy, is a fast-rising artiste who has released a number of hit songs, winning the 2015 VGMA ‘Artiste of the Year ahead of Sarkodie.
