Talent, passion, and creativity are abundant across Africa, but without the right infrastructure, even the most promising ideas can struggle to reach their full potential. The NECLive 2025 panel session Building Creative Infrastructure to Power Africa’s Economic Growth will explore the real-world systems and support structures needed to elevate the continent’s creative industries. The panel will examine what effective infrastructure looks like for film, music, art, design, and advertising, and how it can help creators scale their work, reach wider audiences, and contribute meaningfully to economic growth.
Moderated by Seyitan Ategarin, the discussion features Steve Babaeko, Moliehi Molekoa, Shaibu Husseini, and Colette Otusheso, each bringing experience in creative enterprise, policy, and industry development. Their insights will provide practical guidance for creatives, investors, and stakeholders on building ecosystems that nurture talent, encourage innovation, and drive long-term impact.
The panel will take place at NECLive 2025 on Friday, November 28, at 9:00 AM at Landmark Events Centre.
