The momentum mounts as the Star Music Trek train moves to Onitsha, Anambra State on Sunday, May 11, 2014, with some of Nigeria’s favourite performers set to light up the city on the expansive Trek stage.
Superstars Wande Coal and Phyno will be joining other A-list artistes KCEE, Naeto C and Mr. Raw as well as a host of home grown stars to thrill thousands of excited fans at Godwin Achebe Stadium, Onitsha, Anambra State.
‘This will be my last performance at The Trek 2014 and incidentally, it is the first time I’ll be performing on the Trek, in this city. It’s been an awesome time touring with my fellow artistes. Every city I’ve performed in has been extra special and that’s something I will never forget. So join me and my friends Wande Coal, Mr Raw, Phyno and KCEE in Onitsha on Sunday, May 11, it’s going to be an awesome night,’ Naeto C said.
Phyno, who brings to all his performances an exciting combination of effervescent lyrics and street clout, promises fans another unforgettable show this weekend. ‘You can have too much of a good thing and it only makes you happy, and that’s what every Trek is for me. If you are in Onitsha and environs, this is a show you won’t forget in a hurry,’ the singer said.
Consumers have also been winning big at the exciting pre gigs which hold before each Star Music Trek concert in every city. Picalily Licks and Bites, Onitsha hosts this week’s pre-gig party on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
Lucky guests are set to win lots of fantastic branded prizes such as LED TVs, home theatre systems, head phones and branded carpets.
2face, Tiwa Savage, M.I and Olamide are some of the artistes performing on the Trek this year. Others are: Davido, Wizkid, Wande Coal, Sound Sultan, Pasuma, Timaya, Phyno, Mr Raw, Dr Sid, Naeto C, KCEE, Sean Tizzle, and May D.
Star Music Trek 2014 will tour three more cities. Expect the train at Benin, Ado Ekiti and a spectacular grand finale at Jalisco Sports Center, Oshodi, Lagos State on May 31, 2014.
