‘Star The Winner Is’, Africa’s first music talent and game show, recently held a week-long regional audition to search for the best vocal talents in Nigeria.
The regional auditions, which took place in five major cities: Benin, Enugu, Port Harcourt, Abuja and Lagos, ended on Thursday, May 8, 2014 in Lagos.
According to the event organisers, the contestants selected from various regions include: Henry McJohn, Nonso Iwuchukwu, Micheal Achu, Jahtell Ilem, Bigwan Faith , Desmond David, Damilara Anifowose, Oni Rose and others.
At the end of the auditions, the Marketing Manager of Star, Goldberg and Export, Tokunbo Adodo, said, ‘The regional auditions offered a grand kick-off to the maiden edition of Star The Winner Is.’
