D’Beat, 2011 Star Quest winners will release their first album on Sunday, June 24, 2012.
Titled ‘D’Beat Goes On’ , the CD will be under Now Muzik imprint.
Now Muzik’s Efe Omorogbe tells us the album will be launched during the monthly music initiative of the label called ‘Live Lounge’.
This was put in place to showcase artistes and their musical works through a series of exclusive live performance at different venue across the country. The album ‘D’ Beat Goes on is a collection of good music with splendid production work from experienced and creative production team’.
D’ Beat formerly known as The B.E.A.T during the reality show is a six man band with three female and three males (namely Sammie Tochux, Beauty Aghedo, Enid Eyube, Charity Adubi, Efetobor Ojarigho and Justice Adigho). They beat five other bands including Harmonics and Storm to win the big prize last year.
The 10 track album features songs such as Oyoyo, Se Lense, Fall in Love Again which was produced by Paul Play and many more.
We’re told the video of their single ‘Oyoyo’ will also be premiered at the event.
The Star supported event will hold at The Place on Isaac John street ,GRA, Lagos as various guest artistes are expected to perform at the Live Lounge.
