Nigerian international singer Simi has released her new single ‘woman’ to critical and commercial acclaim.
The 33-year-old singer released the single on Friday, October 15, 2021 after spending weeks asking women around the world to share stigmas that they deal with. The hashtag that collated the entries was themed #NobodyLikeWoman and had several eye-opening submissions.
The song was produced by Vtek and immediately accompanied with visuals directed by Dammy Twitch.
The Fela-inspired single reflects Simi’s strong beliefs of what a woman should be; beyond the awesome blend of lyrics and beats.
