Maria Sharapova has been defeated once more by Serena Williams during the Wimbledon semi-final game played yesterday, Thursday, July 9, 2015. The two top rated players met again after 16 previous encounters that had Serena, who has won 14 grand slam titles, emerging victorious.
Serena, who had earlier defeated elder sister, Venus during the quarter final match, dispatched Maria 6-2, 6-4 and will now face Garbiñe Muguruza in the final game. Muguruza defeated Polish player, Agnieszka Radwańska in the other semi final match.
