The ceremony, held at the grand ball room of the Oriental hotel, Lagos had in attendance entertainment personalities Yinka Davies, Tonye Cole, Julius Agwu, Iyanya, Joseph Benjamin, Uti Nwachukwu, Niyola, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, and Olisa Adibua, among many others in attendance.
Also at the event were the governor of Cross River State Liyel Imoke and his wife, as well as the former governor, Donald Duke and his wife Onari.
Along with birthday celebrations, the media mogul used the opportunity to celebrate exceptional women and men with the inaugural Sisterhood Awards. Winners of the night included photographer Aisha Augie-Kuta, comedian, event compere and TV host Chioma ‘Chigul’ Omeruah, Mai Atafo and agriculture entrepreneur Mosunmola Umoru.
Ms Abudu is popular for her talk show ‘Moments With Mo’ and her ownership of EbonyLife TV on the DSTV platform across Africa. She is also a human resources management consultant.
