Former Cameroon and Everton striker, Samuel Eto’o has signed a deal to play for Italian club side, U.C. Sampdoria.
The former Chelsea star was unveiled at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday, January 25, 2015, after completing his medical with the club.
Samuel Eto’s made his senior career move from Kadiji Sports Academy to Real Madrid in 1997, but was loaned first to Leganes, then Espanyol and Mallorca which was later turned into a permanent deal.
In 2004, he signed for Barcelona and later moved to Inter Milan in 2009 while Russian side, Anzhi Makhachkala was his next port of call in 2011 before short spells at Chelsea and Everton in England.
In all, it has been a nomadic but absolutely glittering career for Eto’o who has won several team and individual titles including Champions League and La Liga titles with Barcelona, Champions League and Seria A titled with Inter Milan as we as the African Cup of Nations with Cameroon among others.
