For several weeks, the story regarding court bailiffs seizing some of the properties of the supposed king of music, Saheed Osupa was hot. The court bailiffs reportedly stormed his Ajao Estate residence after he failed to pay up the sum of N5.2 Million decided by an Ijebu-Ode High Court to a Ogun State businessman and socialite, Mr. Agbomeji Adekunle who allegedly gave him N1 Million to perform at his event in Ijebu Ode, but didn’t turn-up.
Saheed Osupa was asked by the court to pay N5 Million for damages and the case expenditures which according to the complaint amount to N200,000, but reportedly ignored. Following his negligence, the court reportedly stormed his Ajao Estate home on Maurice Nwoku Close, seizing his Lexus X300 truck with plate number ‘CF 328 SR’ and some other valuables.
However, recent rumours by many Fuji enthusiasts out there was that the fuji star was arrested and detained for 3weeks, a claim he utterly denied. Speaking with Nigerian Entertainment Today (NET), King Saheed Osupa stated, ‘It’s not true o, my brother. People carry stupid rumours all the time. I have settled things with the man in question (Mr. Agbomeji Adekunle) and we are good‘.
Staying with him at his Ajao Estate residence is his pregnant wife (nee Olabisi Muinat Yusuf), the once Ibadan big girl whom he married on Saturday, May 1, 2010 in Ibadan.
