Safaree Samuels is preparing to sue Nicki Minaj for unpaid royalties.
According to TMZ, Safaree Samuels is planning to demand cuts from three of Minaj’s major albums, ‘Pink Friday’, ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ and ‘The Pinkprint’.
According to reports, he said that he has extensive evidence of his contributions to the projects including video footage and voice memos of the two working together.
Samuels, who is Minaj’s ex-boyfriend, is listed as ‘executive producer’ on Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded and its follow-up, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up.
He is also credited as ‘A&R Coordinator’ on Minaj’s most recent release, The Pinkprint.
In addition, he is seeking money from the ‘Anaconda’ rapper’s singles ‘Only’ and ‘Flawless (Remix)’ and ‘Feeling Myself’, with Beyonce.
