Looks like Ric Hassani is not pleased with the organisers of the Headies for excluding his name from the nominees list.
The Rnb singer who dropped his album, ‘African Gentleman’ last year shared his thoughts, revealing that it is a sad day for himself and his team.
Although the singer started getting major buzz after releasing the ‘Gentleman’ song which got him a nomination for the Best Male Vocalist in the country at the Headies 2016, Hassani hoped he would have made it to the nominations list this time.
See what he wrote below:
‘One of my back up singers called me on the phone to tell me about the Headies awards. We weren’t nominated, sad day for the team, but we have had the worst days. I am proud of us, we came from nothing, we did this without any connect, or money or label, just work.
