Celebrated Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo will on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 be honoured as Dike Oha na Nollywood at the fourth edition of the Nollywood Igbo Film Festival in Asaba, Delta State.
The organizer of the festival, Nze Harris Chuma says the actor deserves the title having paid his dues in the industry. He says further that three-day festival was set up to help film makers attract international attention as well as promote the Asaba city as viable for film making.
Damijo, who is currently the Commissioner for Arts and Culture has received a number of awards since the 80’s when he began his foray into Nollywood.
