The third edition of the prestigious Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) kicks into another gear as nominees for the 2015 edition were announced late last night, Wednesday, December 10, 2014.
Since the maiden edition in 2013, the AMVCAs have celebrated the contributions of African filmmakers, actors and others contributing to the success of Africa’s film and television industry.
The third edition is scheduled to hold on March 7, 2015 and according to organisers, viewers should expect a grand event as they reward practitioners in categories ranging from acting to directing, scriptwriting to screenplay, cinematography to editing and others including make-up, sound, lighting among others.
So far, quite a number of Nollywood stars and 2014 movies have been unveiled at the event, with Gideon Okeke, Richard Mofe Damijo, Mercy Johnson, IK Ogbonna, Kunle Afolayan, Ireti Doyle, Wale Ojo, Mike Ezuruonye, OC Ukeje, Ivie Okujaye, Joselyn Dumas, Linda Ejiofor and others nominated for the 2015 AMVCAs.
