Nigerian singer Zara Gretti passed away on the morning of March 28, 2014. One close friend of hers still cannot believe she won’t be seeing the eccentric and energetic singer anymore.
After seeing the reports of her death, Zara’s former manager Toni Payne took to her Twitter to express her shock and dismay.
‘Jesus!‘, she wrote adding ‘When we try to understand life, life tells us “I am not to be understood”… seems so pointless trying‘. ‘The word funeral hit me in the throat hard. Its much easier staying in denial..‘

It is believed Toni Payne began managing Zara in 2010 up until 2012 when they parted ways amicably.
