Rihanna remains committed to bringing education and healthcare to the reach of millions after meeting with French president, Emmanuel Macron.
Riri was in the French capital, Paris, to discuss funding for international education on behalf of her non-profit organisation, Clara Lionel Foundation.
The NGO promotes scholarship projects around the world and was founded by the Bajan singer in 2012.
Macron had invited Rihanna for the meeting after the singer tweeted at him back in June for his support to education in the developing world.
And she was welcomed to the Elysee Palace by the French first lady, Brigitte Macron – both of them dressed down for the meet.

Riri chose a extra-long gray shirt, baggy trousers and an oversized jacket, along with a Dior Addict handbag. Brigitte Macron went with a white short-sleeved jacket on blue denim.
After the meeting, Rihanna said, ‘I just had the most incredible meeting with the president and first lady. They were incredibly welcoming to us.
‘We focused on the topic of education from global aspects and we are going to make a very big announcement this coming September during UN week but we are going to do even more work this October in Africa.’
Macron on his part acknowledged their meeting via Twitter, saying he is ‘committed’ to helping address the challenge of 264 million children being out of school.
