
Real Madrid are out of the 115th Copa del Rey after failing to go pass Celta Vigo.
The Spanish giants suffered a 4-3 defeat on aggregate after two rounds played at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and Balaídos respectively.
Eduardo Berizzo and his team won 2-1 at the Bernabéu, but held Madrid in a 2-2 draw at home last night, January 25. Cristiano Ronaldo’s brilliant 62nd minute free kick wasn’t enough to save the Blancos.
However, Real Madrid still lead the La Liga title race with an outstanding match and just one point ahead of second-placed Sevilla.

Celta Vigo along with Atlético Madrid and Alavés have proceeded to the Semi Finals in the ongoing competition.
Title-holder Barcelona will compete with Real Sociedad to seal their place in the semis at Camp Nou tonight, January 26. The first leg played at Anoeta Stadium ended 1-0 in favour of Luis Enrique‘s side.
