Blaqbonez has reignited his ongoing rivalry with fellow rapper Odumodublvck after releasing a fiery verse on “ACL” on the deluxe edition of his album No Excuses (Deluxe) with a new beat and new verse.
The new release has quickly become the center of online conversation, with fans interpreting the record as a direct response in their long-running beef. On the track, Blaqbonez appears to take multiple shots at Odumodublvck, addressing past tensions between both artists, including accusations of disrespect, social media exchanges, and competitive claims within Nigeria’s rap scene.
The controversy has been amplified by the track’s lyrics, which is directly at Odumodublvck. In one of the most talked-about sections, Blaqbonez raps: “You’re a B!tch to me, You’re a B!tch to me. You’re a B!tch that’s controlled by your b!tch, who was a B!tch to Me. Rapper wey no fit enter studio thats a B!tch to me, All these nia do is tweet the biggest b!tch he used to r!p, remember you say you go destroy me , now you want dey act a Victim, No fit focus on your tour, cause the fans are missing, no shalli no party, im a playboi no carti. That your phone make you try dey drop am, Take your Time, Make you heal & come back, those you b!tch as Nias no go tell you cause if you dey rehab, who go pay for their wig & handbag?. All that tantrum is just a cry for help, last time i looked inside your eyes bro you wasnt there, all your mentors wey you dey pull down, streets no fit forget, Take your time to self reflect if you get some self respect.”
However, the feud did not begin with “ACL.” It all began in early 2025 when Odumodublvck confidently claimed that no rap project could match his 2023 tape Eziokwu. Fans quickly took that as a subtle jab at Blaqbonez, whose album Emeka Must Shine had also been successful. Although no names were mentioned, the tension was obvious. Blaqbonez responded shortly after by referencing his track “Consistency,” posting a message that fans saw as a direct reply. What started as competitive energy between two artists who had previously collaborated soon turned into a serious rivalry.
By 2026, the feud between Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez took a dramatic turn when reports surfaced that Odumodublvck’s team had allegedly gained control of the beat used for “ACL.” The track, which was originally a diss aimed at Odumodublvck from Blaqbonez’s No Excuses album, had started off as part of a normal rap back-and-forth, driven by strong lyrics and competition.
However, things quickly changed when rumors emerged that the beat for “ACL” had not been properly cleared. According to reports, Odumodublvck’s team stepped in behind the scenes and bought the rights to the beat directly from the producer, shifting the power dynamic in the middle of the feud.
The track arrives as part of the newly released No Excuses (Deluxe) edition, which expands Blaqbonez’s original project with additional records aimed at reinforcing his creative range while keeping his signature sharp-tongued rap style intact. The deluxe rollout has also helped re-energize attention around the album, especially with “ACL” emerging as its most talked-about addition.
