Nigerian Entertainment Today can confirm that US rapper Jayceon Terrell Taylor better known as The Game will not be performing at the MTN Project Fame West Africa opening gala holding tonight Sunday, October 2, 2011 after the rapper failed to make it to Nigeria.
As reported earlier The Game was meant to perform on the same stage with fellow US act Brandy Norwood and African pop singer D’banj and Project Fame Alumni Iyanya, Praiz, Myke and Chidinma but sources close to organizers hinted that the rapper won’t be gracing the shores of Nigeria.
However, a quick replacement has been made as US singer Joe just arrived Nigeria and is being driven straight to the concert venue as at the time of this report.
The Game who is a frequent Twitter user didn’t drop the notion about visiting Nigerian at any point recently unlike Brandy who tweeted through her @4everBrandy handle ‘On my way to Nigeria!!!! First time but not the last:)‘.
The Game first traveled to Nigeria in 2008 for the ‘Road To the MAMAs’ show.

Shame on GAME. He really f**ked up and that’s a big disappointment to us his fans. Now enuff of foreign rap stars. Come to think of rap stars; wot do u guys @ NET think of this new naija kid on the block by the name BOSSTA or is it BOOSTA wit a hot single ERUKU? I believe this guy will take over 4rm where DAGRIN left. Check out his swagger and mad lyrical depth in Yoruba. That’s crazy! Wit the right team and a lil’ bit of in- ya-face promo, this young cat will BLOW! Check out ‘eruku’ and QUOTE me later.
I couldnt stop wondering what game was coming to do cuz profame is all about singing, joe was a perfct replacement.
