US rapper Percy Miller aka Master P has lost custody of his four children.
The rapper, who divorced his ex-wife Sonya after twenty four years of marriage lost custody after missing a court appearance. Sonya was awarded sole physical and legal custody of 13-year-old Hercy, 9-year-old Mercy, 17-year-old Tytyana and 14-year-old Italy on Monday, June 9, 2014.
After the divorce, Sonya has said she is poverty stricken, despite the rapper’s fortune, but Master P has previously accused her of being addicted to drugs and alcohol, and said he will deny her access to his money until she is clean.
Master P is also required to pay $75,000 (N12m) in legal costs, which includes sanctions for not showing up.
