Even though he’s still in pains himself, having only recently lost his mother, Jude Engees Okoye was so moved by the touching story of a brain tumor patient, that he donated N1m to help fund an operation.
The patient Ibezim Osemeke, was reportedly diagnosed with a brain tumour four months ago.
According to blogger Linda Ikeji, Osameke is in need of N 3.7 m for an operation in India. With Okoye’s N1m, and other contributions coming in, the young man is now very closer to getting the treatment he requires, we’re told.
Jude, the older brother of singing duo, Psquare, is an artiste manager and music video director.
He, along with his siblings and family members, will lay to rest the remains of their mother Josephine Okoye on Thursday, August 2, 2012, in Ifite Dunu, Awka, Anambra.
