This is the current situation in the life of Shina Peller, one of the sons of the late flamboyant magician, Professor Peller.
Shina Peller owns the popular Quilox night club, which has been valued at over N1b.
Going by the funds spent on acquiring and erecting the purpose-built night club, Quilox might have earned the title of the biggest club in Nigeria at the moment.
The estimate covers the cost of the property, situated on highbrow Ozumba Mbadiwe road, Victoria Island, the internal club structure, fittings and assets.
According to the owner, Shina, acquisition of the multi plots of land for the night club and building took over two years.
Quilox’s design, first of its kind décor, lighting and an over the roof sound system are some of the bespoke features which cost several millions of naira.
Insiders tell us the night club is for the exclusively rich and provides a mini casino and karaoke, among several facilities that were recently overhauled for better services.
Shina reopened Quilox night club on August 1, 2014, with top Nigerian music acts such as 2Face Idibia, Sound Sultan, KWAM 1 and Patoranking in attendance.
