Popular sex boosters in high demand

Sex stimulants seem to be gaining an unprecedented popularity recently, especially among the youth, who use these aphrodisiacs for sexual pleasures. This contradicts the popular belief that reduced sex drive majorly occurs in individuals with relatively low levels of testosterone, meaning post-menopausal women or men over the age of 60.

Aphrodisiacs are substances that increase sexual desire or libido. Many foods, drinks, pills, ointments and even chewing gum have been said to make sex more pleasurable. However, from a historical and scientific standpoint, the alleged results may be more because the users believe that they will be effective, also known as the placebo effect.

In the pursuit of increased stamina and improved libido, several youths have reportedly resorted to the use of stimulants or drinks thought or said to be an avenue to sexual pleasures.

Nigerian Entertainment Today takes a look at some of the popular sex stimulants that Nigerians now use to improve their sexual capabilities and pleasures.

HERBAL BITTERS:

This is the most commonly used stimulant available. Herbal drinks have always been available, but became extremely popular in the early 2000s with the birth of the famous medicinal drink from Ghana called ‘Alomo’ which is said to be a health drink with curative properties, especially for men, however it has turned out to be one of the most sought after sex stimulants by most young men, who take the drink judiciously. Other herbal drinks in it’s category, allegedly with the same sexual stimulating properties include Ogidiga, Ori Malu, Webo, Osomo, Action Bitters and many more. Investigations have revealed that these alcoholic drinks are said to increase men’s stamina during sexual intercourse.

SEXY CHEWING GUM:

This is reportedly often used as a trap to lure unsuspecting ladies, arouse them sexually and then have sex with them. These stimulating chewing gums reportedly deliver a unique feeling and sexual arousal for women only. Chewing the gum can secrete estrogen, which stimulates the pituitary gland to produce excitement and then transmits it to the nerve. The chewing gum is sold in sachets with 10 pieces for just N500 and is said to work better when chewed 30 minutes before sexual activity. 

LOVE TEA:

Like normal tea bags, the Love Tea also comes in a pack, but with a different composition and mission. Its mission is to stimulate the urge to have sex in both men and women.

It’s best served and consumed hot, and in a matter of minutes, it sends a tingling sensation down your spine, and you begin to feel aroused. The love tea is particularly reliable, according to habitual users, who say it doesn’t have any known side effects and works wonders.

VIAGRA CAPSULE:
