Having already developed a strong reputation as one of the most respected producers north of the Niger, Jamix comes highly recommended. His A-list clientele include Styl Plus and Faze but despite having one of the more instantly recognisable names of a Nigerian music producer, Jamix has somehow managed to remain invisible while his work on the board does all the talking on his behalf that is, until recently.
Earlier this year, Jamix made the bold decision to step up to the plate and do his own music his own way. He uses his sheer star magnetism to put together a 5-Star ensemble that includes fellow producers Terry G and M.I and the one only 9ice. The result is the piano-driven street anthem Omo Naija, a song which probably gets more spins on Abuja radio than MTN, Glo, Zain and etisalat jingles combined!
Jamix doesn’t even really need to say much on the record, just a few of his customary ad libs here and there and oh, did I mention those pianos? Sorry, I just can’t get over the production. I will, on the other hand, have no qualms getting over this video. It lacks the type of quality that’ll leap out of your screen and command your attention. And while I’m happy to finally see the face of the man behind some of the most inspired beats on the Nigerian radio, the video doesn’t do the song any visual favours.
Regardless of Omo Naija subpar video, there is great anticipation for the talented producer’s impending musical project. What dimension that project would take and when Nigeria would get the chance to listen to it in its entirety, only time will tell.

Did u hear wat he was singin? 'omo naija' wat do u xpect 2 c in d vid? som black background wif dem dancin around chics? Jamix brought a fine blend of a street mafia nd one of d street lords, 9ice and Terry G respectively. Den 2 smoothen d edges nd finetune it, he finishes it wit MI. d kids on d street, 9ice in keke-napep, MI in d hood, Terry G being d intellectual Ginger dt he is.D vid ws shot on d streets in Naija. Wat else do u want 2 c in d vid chiagoziem? If u dnt lik d vid, leav ur omment in d content of ur article and nt as d headline. PLS

D vid may not b 'WOW!!' bt its a gud video. I dnt think street videos r so 'WOW!!'. peeps lik AZee Yo nd a host of oda hood gang wer present in d video, it was shot in d right location, d song mks sense, d artiste selection ws perfect nd dey had it rolling.
