On Sunday June 2, 2013 a charity match was played between Manchester United Legends and Real Madrid legends at Old Trafford in Manchester England. More than 60,000 fans turned up as the match that ended 2-1 to Real Madrid.
Fernando Morientes gave Madrid the lead but Ruud van Nistelrooy, who played a half for each side, leveled for United much to the delight of the Old Trafford crowd.
Ubén de la Red, the youngest player on the pitch, won it for Madrid five minutes from time.
