Occupy Nigeria DAY 6 (January 16, 2012) took on another turn as a few protesters who marched down to the Gani Fawehinmi Park were met by Military personnel, members of the Civil defence corps and the Police. NLC hard advised protesters to shun any street gatherings for a ‘sit-at-home’ protest.
But hundreds of protesters took to the streets and even though they weren’t allow access to the park, they hung around for hours before dispersing. Things got heated between the protesters and Soldiers at different points, with the men in uniform using tear gas and gun shots to disperse protesters

GEJ should really not claim to know and understand the usefulness of the peaceful and harmless protest in lagos. He is only showing us Nigerians how childish he is,in handling the state affairs. Why on earth would he roll out military men in lagos state of all places in Nigeria?,he is there hiding around while the north are using the boko haram in bombing vital places like the force head quarters abuja,UN building in abuja etc, without taking any drastic actions,to checkmate the boko haramist and their menace.Well he has masively failed Nigerians, wheather or not his fuel subsidy removal will create any impact or not in Nigeria,he has just failed to show and prove he is learned,in terms of policy presentation and implementation.Who wont know that the qualities of a typical responsibile and good leader is to plan before action, think before talking etc.I’m totally disappointed that we should get into protest before the would be redeployment of military influence on the streets of lagos, its goes to show how unfirm and how unprepared GEJ is to govern this country. He is just right inside an ocean, swimming, while he is so covered by little soap in his eyes.We voted you, because we needed a change in vision,a different orientation, mindset,a fresh breath you tagged it?, etc..Oga the breath is so HOT and uncalled for,too childish to come from you.On the fuel pump price you left at N97 a liter, how has it defined your so called intelligence in check mating the menace on the oil sector and improving it?.Shouldnt we maintain N65 to get at what plan you said you have for the country?,a President who finally wakes up to remember he has to address and appeal to Nigerians on the 5th day of strike and unconsiously remembers to start public awareness on the importance of the fuel subsidy removal after things had gone so wrong and trust betrayed, shouldnt be our President.Nigeria is too big to have such a lame man be their number one citizen.GEJ please recall the influence of the military in lagos state, nobody is after you,its just your shadow with those of your cabinet members own.Finaly I want to remind you to understand the severity of the position you ocupy, its so sensitive and demands absolute caushion.God gave it to you, pray for Gods direction and wisdom again,if you have lost it.God bless Nigeria..Amen
