In honour of Nollywood Icon Fred Amata who recently clocked 50, a novelty match was played between Ex Super Eagles players and some celebrities at Campus Square Surulere. The match ended 4:3 in favour of Ex Super Eagles players

The line up included AY, Elenu, Basorge Tariah Jnr, Okey Bakassi, Yaw, Victor Ikpeba, Jay Jay Okocha, Samson Siasia and Mutiu Adepoju, as well as Peter Rufai, actors Osita Iheme, Chinedu Ikedieze, Segun Arinze, Daddy Showkey, Fathia Balogun, Rachel Oniga, Bimbo Akintola, Yemi Blaq, Ali Baba, and many more.

As part of festivities lined up in celebration of Fred Amata’s 50th birthday, a host of celebrities came together on Thursday, May 15, 2013.
Two squads ‘Team Celebrities’ and ‘Team Ex-Super Eagles’ had fun tossing the ball around for 90 minutes at the campus square mini stadium.
