First openly gay player of the National Football League, Micheal Sam who was named the Man of the Year by men’s magazine, GQ celebrated the big day by kissing his boyfriend, Vito Cammisano in public.
At the event, which held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont, LA, Micheal Sam beat fellow NFL players, Chris Pratt, Steve Carell, Dave Chappelle, Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley to win the accolade.
The former Dallas Cowboys defensive end, who is currently a free agent, came out as a gay in an interview with Chris Connelly on ESPN’s Outside the Lines on Sunday, February 9, 2014.
