Well there is a reason for that and we will serve you the gist. There is a celebrity dentist in Lagos who helps celebs achieve a whiter teeth by way of cleaning and care.
The interesting part is that almost all your favourite celebs have visited this guy for one thing or the other. For clients like D’banj and others, he also offers home services.
He’s the hubby of Cool FM’s OAP, Temi who co-anchors the ‘Midday Oasis’ with Dotun.
His name is Timi Akinmuda, the Chief Dental Surgeon/Director at Blanche Dental Clinic in Lagos. He has over the years served the need of several celebs, including D’banj, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Sasha, Orezi and others.
Not left out of his rich list of clients are popular OAPs like Toolz, Osi Suave, Mannie, Kayla, Omalicha, Big Tyme and several others.
Before we dwell too much on his present life as a dentist, let’s take you a bit back in time. Known then as Timi (the Black One), he was a rapper and member of the rap collective, Da Trybe.
Led by Eldee tha Don and boasting the likes of Sasha, 2shortz, Dr Sid, Da Trybe was formed from one of Nigeria’s pioneering 3-man hip hop group with a bias for rap, known as The Trybesmen.
Back to Timi, he was always saying: ‘Timi the black one’ when it was his time on the mic and although not frequenting studios anymore now, he remains useful and around his former colleagues.
