Alice Cooper, 67, is an American singer who is known for swathing his domestic snakes around his neck when he performs on stage. Strange?
No Nigerian artiste would dare try such, except the show is meant for him alone, because the ‘9ja’ audience won’t buy such.
Alice recently admitted that he pay for his snakes to travel next to him in first class on a plane because he reviled the thought of them being cooped up in a cage.
The most famous of the snakes is his three-year-old boa constrictor Christopher, Which he reportedly likes to treat like a child.
Here’s why… He once lost a former snake down the toilet.
Explaining to Daily Telegraph, he said: ‘I did lose a former snake, Yvonne, a 12ft-long boa, in a hotel in Knoxville, Tennessee.
‘I put her in a bath tub overnight as she loved to swim but in the morning she had gone down the toilet.’
Oh! Don’t feel so sorry, ‘Yvonne eventually emerged two weeks later in a different bathroom, having survived off sewer rats in the plumbing.’
All this started decades ago, see some of his photos below…
