Fondly called the ‘Godfather of Hip life,’ music in Ghana, Reggie Rockstone was interviewed in Ghana, yesterday, May 22, 2015 by leading cable network, CNN.
The interview was conducted right inside the popular Django bar owned by the acclaimed musician who thrilled Nigerians and other Africans as a judge of Glo-sponsored music reality TV series, X Factor.
Reggie Rockstone, who started the Hip-life movement back in 1994, is believed to have played an important role in the development of this uniquely African genre in Ghana’s capital, Accra. Up till date, he delivers his rap verses very well in the local Twi as well as in English.
