The world can’t wait for the new Adele album. She will be working on a follow-up to her record-breaking second studio album, ’21’, is still shrouded in mystery, which is expected to be finished later this year with fellow British singer-songwriter Phil Collins. But whispers have pointed to a mid-2014 release.
‘I’ve just started to work with Adele,’ Collins said on Inside South Florida (via CBN News). ‘She contacted me to write together.’
Veteran British rocker Phil Collins 62, joked that he didn’t know a thing about the 25-year-old Grammy sweeper. When asked about her massive success, Collins told press, ‘I wasn’t actually too aware. I live in a cave! But she’s achieved an incredible amount. I really love her voice. I love some of that stuff she’s done, too.’
The former Genesis front man is coming out of a musical retirement to work with Adele, after previously calling it quits to be a full-time father to his two young sons. If there was ever an artist to come out of a cave for, it’s her!
