City 105.1 FM’s Let’s Talk Women had TV host, Peace Hyde as its guest and she spoke with the radio station’s MD/CEO, Doja Allen, on a number of topics.
The British-Ghanaian personality talked on how she felt being listed as one of the Most Influential People of African Descent in 2017, amongst Oprah Winfrey, TD Jakes and Trevor Noah.

Along with this achievement, Hyde has also, more recently, been made a Forbes Woman Africa correspondent, hosting a 12-part series, Against the Odds with Peace Hyde.
She also spoke with Allen about some of the biggest challenges faced working in the media, how she typically deal with critics who say you don’t quite represent a picture of ‘women empowerment’ – which is the idea behind her new programme, Against All Odds with Peace Hyde – and the advice she would give to young women looking to follow in her career path.
Hyde also opened up on dealing with self-doubt and critics who suggested that she belonged in music videos.

Let’s Talk Women is a show centered around the development of women and a drive to ensure women get more recognition in their various field of work.
The show is hosted by the MD/CEO of the Ikeja-based radio station and airs every Monday from 7pm – 8pm with Doja Allen and Kunmi O.
